15 • Mota del Cuervo

I feel I was walking a Celtic blessing today, the sun behind me, the wind at my back, cool and refreshing, the path before me and, to add a Spanish version, a rockless road, a number of villages and blessed shade.

Guidebook suggested a 32.5 km walk today, I decided to stop after 20 km. I left around 06:30 and had very little use for my headlight because, once my eyes adjusted, I walked in the light of the glorious full moon.
